Spring 2020 Cancellation

MASA Community:

First and foremost, the MASA Board of Directors hope you and your family are healthy and safe during these unprecedented times. And we thank you for your patience, support, and understanding as we evaluated the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on our soccer season.

In conjunction with Pennsylvania’s Stay-at-Home order and the decision to keep schools closed for the remainder of the school year, PA West Soccer (the sanctioning body of MASA) announced this week that it is canceling all Spring competitions. As such, the MASA Spring season for all in-house and travel teams is also canceled.

MASA is currently working with its website administrator regarding the processing of refunds for the Spring 2020 season and we are hopeful to have a solution in place over the coming weeks. If you would like a refund, which will be applied back to the credit card used during registration, please email Truby Buccille ([email protected]) by May 8 th . If we do not receive your refund request by May 8 th we will apply a credit to your account for a future MASA season.

As the situation around the COVID-19 pandemic evolves we will monitor the situation and plan accordingly with the expectation that there will be a Fall 2020 season. The health of everyone involved with MASA is our top priority at this time, and all decisions regarding the Fall 2020 season will be made with this in mind. In the interim, please be on the lookout for soccer training ideas from Dave Hull, MASA’s VP of Coach and Player Development.

We look forward to the day when we can all be together again at Murrysville Community Park enjoying The Beautiful Game.
