Changes to Coaching Requirements

Below are the proposed minimum coaching requirements for all levels present in our association.  With the new emphasis on online instruction, it is easier than ever for an interested person to become a coach for MASA.

Age Level Minimum Certification
6-under In-house 4v4 online
8-under In-house 4v4 online
10-under In-house and travel 7v7 online
12-under In-house and travel 9v9 online
Older than 12-under In-house and travel 11v11 online

For more specific information on becoming a coach and for access to these online modules, please access the following link: Online Coaching Modules. Once on the page, access "Grassroots Courses" under "License Pathway." Select "Online Courses" and choose the module that corresponds to your desired level.

Please be sure to take only the course that applies directly to the developmental level that you intend to coach. If you plan to coach more than one developmental level, please take the course that applies to the older of these levels.
